Who are the members of the alliance?

Founded in Marseilles in 1855, RICHARDSON specializes in the distribution of heating, air-conditioning, bathroom, tiling and plumbing equipment.
With nearly 2,000 employees in more than 100 stores throughout France and 2,000 suppliers, the group has enjoyed steady, sustained growth, while retaining a family spirit based on the essential values of respect, transparency, responsibility and customer satisfaction.

Van Marcke is an innovative Belgian company that has developed over the years into an international, multidisciplinary group. The company was founded in 1929 and is commercially active in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United States and Malta. The Group is headquartered in Belgium (Kortrijk/Aalbeke).
The group employs around 1,700 people in 108 sales outlets.

SOCODA is an alliance of 200 independent, multi-specialist distributors serving companies in the construction and industry sectors, and organized into 5 business lines: Steel, Decoration, Electrical, Professional Tools and Industry and Sanitary/Heating.
SOCODA provides its distributors with a negotiating force and a service platform to help them develop and sustain their business.
The network has over 1,000 sales outlets, 11,000 employees, 1,000 supplier partners and 440,000 professional customers.

Allix is a unique grouping of three distributors specializing in building products, who have decided to join forces to simplify and streamline exchanges with manufacturer suppliers.

This initiative was born of the desire of our three companies, RICHARDSON, SOCODA and VAN MARCKE, to create an efficient, collaborative platform that would save building product suppliers time and reduce their management costs.

Working together to promote our suppliers’ products more effectively, leveraging our combined marketing resources to reach a wider audience. = collaborative marketing for accelerated business!

Our ambition is to create an ecosystem where cooperation and synergy are the watchwords.

In short, a great, user-friendly, and effective tool that allows SOCODA, VANMARCKE, and RICHARDSON to stay one step ahead of their competitors in supplier relations.

We spent an hour and a half on an onboarding session for the SAXO portal developed by ALLIX. The presentation was led by Laura MORA and Cyrille AUDRAS.
In just half an hour, we reviewed all the menus within the SAXO portal. During that time, I even drafted a short user guide for my colleagues at CKW Solar. We then moved on to a real-life case by integrating CKW's latest FABDIS file into SAXO. The report was generated in a few minutes—it’s very fast. From there, you simply go through the different tabs and let yourself be guided.
By clicking on the red bars, you get a list of cells containing errors, along with an explanatory text. SAXO is very intuitive and easy to use because it guides the user tab by tab, column by column, and then row by row. You can’t go wrong. The error explanations are very clear, and if you do encounter an unusual case (as we did during the presentation), Laura and Cyrille quickly find the solution thanks to their expertise with the platform.
In short, it’s a great, user-friendly, and effective tool that allows SOCODA, VANMARCKE, and RICHARDSON to stay one step ahead of their competitors in supplier relations.
